2025/01/24

Hello everyone,
Recently, there has been an increase in suspicious contacts claiming to be from the Immigration Bureau (Nyukan).
The Immigration Bureau will never request money through phone calls or emails!
Please be cautious and avoid sharing personal information easily with others.
【Examples of Suspicious Contacts】
- A phone call claiming your residence card (zairyuu card) has issues and will be invalidated.
- A phone call stating that your passport has a problem and you need to pay bail to avoid detention.
- An email stating that if you don’t update your visa information, you’ll be fined 2 million yen.
