The My Number Card is a convenient card that makes daily life in Japan easier.

With this card, you can:
●Use it as your health insurance card at hospitals and clinics.
●Obtain official documents, such as a Certificate of Residence, at convenience stores.
●Complete procedures at your city hall more easily.
●Complete some residence-related procedures online.

You can apply at your city hall, or by using your smartphone or by mail.
To make your life in Japan more convenient, we encourage you to apply for a My Number Card!

●The My Number Card contains important personal information. Do not tell anyone your My Number (12-digit personal identification number) unless it is necessary.
●If you lose your My Number Card, contact the police and your city hall immediately.
●If you renew your period of stay, you must also complete the necessary procedures for your My Number Card.
